It’s all about me
I attended (and graduated) Cleveland Heights High School, the University of Michigan, Johns Hopkins University and worked for the US Government for 33 Years.
I have degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science.
I taught English to native Japanese speakers and I was a paramedic. In more recent years I have had a religious awakening: I am proudly a member of a group that outnumbers Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Buddhists, Hindus, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Southern Baptists COMBINED. I am an Atheist.
My hobbies are photography, computers, blogging, travel, and training my dog. My favorite foods are coffee and chocolates.
I am currently retired. in my earlier life I have lived in Misawa, Japan, Cleveland, Ohio, Columbia, Maryland, and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The Picture of the Lion
I took it. Me with a little help from my Nikon D200. The lion had just finished off a warthog as an afternoon snack (notice the blood-stained teeth). Oddly enough, I did feel safe. The lion paid no attention to me at all.
