Judge Tom Head

Good grief, I missed another one! In my August 22 blog, I wrote about Representative Tom Aiken of Missouri and his unique take on Female biology. After I realized that this was just a Republican saying Republican things, I dismissed it. Well, as you know it has become a national scandal. I am still amazed at the fuss over Tom Aiken, after all, he IS a Republican. He is not expected to and does not have the capability of acting like an adult.

Well the latest mishap involved Judge Tom Head from Lubbock County, Texas. Saying that as the county’s emergency management coordinator he has to “think about the very worst thing that can happen and prepare for that and hope and pray for the best,” Head told his radio host on a CNN affiliate that he believes “in this political climate and financial climate, what is the very worst thing that could happen right now? Obama gets back in the White House. No. God forbid.”

Referring to unexplained “executive orders” and other documents that Obama and “his minions have filed,” Head said, “regardless of whether the Republicans take over the Senate, which I hope they do, he is going to make the United States Congress and he’s going to make the Constitution irrelevant. He’s got his czars in place that don’t answer to anybody.” Head did not exactly explain how that was going to happen.

Obama, Head said, will “try to give the sovereignty of the United States away to the United Nations. What do you think the public’s going to do when that happens? We are talking civil unrest, civil disobedience, possibly, possibly civil war. … I’m not talking just talking riots here and there. I’m talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms, get rid of the dictator. OK, what do you think he is going to do when that happens? He is going to call in the U.N. troops, personnel carriers, tanks and whatever.” Yes folks, there is trouble right here in River City!

Head vowed to personally stand “in front of their personnel carriers and say, ‘You’re not coming in here.’ And I’ve asked the sheriff. I said, ‘Are you going to back me on this?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, I’m going to back you.’ Well, I don’t want a bunch of rookies back there who have no training and little equipment. I want seasoned veteran people who are trained that have got equipment. And even then, you know we may have two or three hundred deputies facing maybe a thousand U.N. troops. We may have to call out the militia.” Hmmm, so here the United Nations has invaded us and we retaliated with Judge Head — and maybe the Texas Republican Party. The US Army is, of course, waiting to see if Judge Head can handle it. This sounds like the beginning of a comedy program. By the way, the County Sheriff, Kelly Rowe, was asked about the “are you going to back me” comment. Rowe said that a conversation like that never happened.

This man’s quote has been picked up by newspapers all over the world. I guess that if I would speak to that moron I would, first of all ask who those czars are. Maybe we could fire them. Now, this “giving of sovereignty to the United Nations”. What the hell does that mean? What UN troops is he talking about? The UN has no troops, no personnel carriers, no tanks, no guns, no airplanes, no ships, etc.

Ever since April 30, 1789 when George Washington became President this country has tolerated a revolution every four years. We sometimes refer to that as a national election, but make no mistake about it, it is a revolution. We have the obligation to vote and possibly “throw the bums out”. We do sometimes, we don’t other times. Maybe Judge Head never heard of that. Maybe he spent most of his life in law enforcement attempting to make sure that “undesirables” didn’t get the chance to vote.

I checked and as far as I could tell, this was not a skit on Saturday Night Live.  My suggestion to Judge Head is that he stay out of politics until he has gone back to High School and take a civics course. Or maybe talk to a good psychiatrist. Paranoia is treatable.
